Dominant D109 Black Layer PS
DOMINANT BLACK D 109
DOMINANT BLACK D 109 is the most popular layer programme for GP, PS and commercial product exports. This programme is used by producers as it is highly adaptable for hot climate in Africa, Latin America and Asia. It is also popular in many European countries in free range and small scale farms.
The advantage of this programme is quality brown eggs and high egg productivity (> 310 eggs at 74 weeks age).
DOMINANT BLACK D 109 is the result of crossing Rhode Island Red paternal stock with Barred Plymouth Rock maternal stock. Day old chicks can be colour sexed. Day old cockerel chicks are barred with white spot on the head and day old hen chicks are dark without a spot on their heads.
