DOMINANT BROWN D 102 is very popular for intensive eggs production and is exported as GPS, PS and commercial stock. This bird is highly adapted for sub-optimal and harsh production conditions for intensive egg production by our customers in Africa and Asia. It is also popular for free range and small scale production.
It has an egg productivity of more than 315 brown shell eggs at 74 weeks age.
DOMINANT BROWN D 102 is result of crossing Rhode Island Red paternal stock with Rhode Island White maternal stock. Day old chicks can be colour sexed. Day old cockerel chicks are white (silver) and day old hen chicks are brown.
